No way, there is 360 days more.

Not sure where you are, but here in the USA Father's Day is next Sunday, the 19th. Now, which new Scotch shall I buy for ME on FATHER's day?

Decisions, decisions; always decisions.

Who cares about Father's day, it's only a commercial gimmick. There's even a silly Grandparent's Day now.

And who cares what excuse you use to buy or sample a wee dram? heck, around here it's happy hour at 5 p.m. every day. Today it's..... Dewars, on the rocks.

Now wait just a minute here! Eye yam a silly grandparent, and I demand my full share of Ardbeg or Laphroig for MY DAY. I've actually put in a request for Bowmore Darkest, which we can't get at all down here in the sunny south.

(Can't let them Mothers get away with all the swag.)

I thougth that is was the same all over the world, I live in Denmark, here it is 5. june.

It's whenever the gift and card companies think they'll reap the richest rewards.

ssshhh...if I get a nice bottle of Scotch out of the deal, who's to complain?

Well, OK, I suppose if you're not going to drink Scotch, then I won't either.

I never refer to what I drink as just scotch.. I drink only single malt scotch, and I don't need an excuse. I just sit here and decide which... so many to choose from.

And I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to fork out 30 quid or more for a decent bottle, because people who don't understand malt, should NEVER buy malt for someone who likes it.

Well my girlie knows as much about halibut farming as she does about whiskey but she still managed to buy me a bottle of Lord of the Isles and the cheapest bottle of Ledaig which is fabulous.
