Looking for a bottle of Single Malt distilled on 28 February 1974

Hi Kevin,

I can't personally think of any whisky retailers who track their single malt inventory based on the distilling date right down to the month. For instance, Signatory may have done a single cask bottling of Glen Albyn that was distilled on February 28, 1974 but I doubt that the stores carrying this, ie. Royal Mile Whiskies or Loch Fyne Whiskies would have this information handy. If they're disposed to look through all individual bottles from 1974 and read the labels, they might be able to find what you're looking for.

Thanks Johanna - I thought as much but its worth a try. Last year when visiting Loch Fyne Whiskies, I got the two people serving there looking through their stock - they came up with a Bladnoch distilled on 8th March

I visited the Cadenhead shop in Campbeltown last september, they have some old bottlings stocked there. We found some from the 60ties on the shelves in the storeroom, so maybe they are able to help you.
