I want to try some Rob Roys. I understand I need some whisky, sweet vermouth, "bitters" and marischino cherries.
I think I know what Bitters is/are conceptually, but what is a brand I can go into Bevmo and ask for? I look it up at bevmo.com and have no idea what is what.

Surprisingly the Beverages and More around here doesn't have it apparently. I found a bottle at the local Ralph's, which I didn't expect.
As an aside, Bitters tastes great in a fish pie / stew...
