I would like to buy a special bottle or two with my Christmas haul, but can't seem to decide which one. I've narrowed down my possibilities to:
Laphroaig 30 Ardbeg 21 Ardbeg Provenance
Scotts Port Ellen 1976 Scotts Port Ellen 1979
Anyone have experience with these bottles? Bear in mind that I can get any two of these for the cost on one Ardbeg Provenance. Thanks for your comments!

Go for Ardbeg Provenance, if it's within your limits. Had some last summer, at Ardbeg, courtesy of the Thompsons, one of the most fantastic whiskies I've ever had. You can always get the other whiskies. Provenance will be increasinly harder to get hold of... Also, I've had all three, and - if I could afford it - I wouldn't hesitate for a second.
