...I apologise if this is slightly off-topic, but:

I am a graphic designer currently working on my graduation project about whisky packaging.

I will truly appreciate if you can spare two minutes of your time to answer a few questions.

Thank you very much!

Oh, i have answeard. Hope i've helped. BTW i'm new here, just looking for soem nice ppl to chat about anything, includign whisky :). Cya, Reshef.

I've answered it too, but it's about as superficial as a survey can be.

Some of us don't give a fig about the packaging, btw..,,

Yeah. I put "serial number" as the only outward sign of "exclusive" quality that I found worthy. Of course, that properly means cask number, distillation date, and bottling date but the survey did not detail any of that. I hope the survey isn't actually describing some pompous, comically fictitional "serial number" that will appear identically on every &^%$* bottle (much like the gold embossed letters on the label).

Well, guss you dont mind too much about the package, though i like it. i think it adds somewhat to the character of the drink, and improves the whole experience. I still own the package of the first J & B i ever bought.. :P LOL..

Thank you for all the answers I have recieved so far. I appreciate it very much!

I agree with you, Larry, that it is a rather superficial survey, but for my purpose it is adequate. I have tons and tons of other surveys, statistics, interviews and reports to dig into. I intentionally tried to keep the survey to an absolut minimum to encourage people to complete it.

Keep'em answers comin' :)

Dane, if you've got any other questions you can allways send them to me by email, i'll be glad to answear :)

Do we get to see the finished product?

I might put it online after my graduation in june - I'll keep you posted on that.

Thank you once again to everyone around the world who has taken the time to complete the survey. It remains online until mid-may, and your answers are very much appreciated.
