I found this guy in my cellar while nosing around and it still had a gift c ard attached. The 2006 Blankiet Estate Paradise Hills Vineyard Napa Valley Red Wine is a 60/40 Cab/merlot blend showing deep dark purple in the glass. Nose of espresso, black cherries, smoke and dark chocolate. Fairly seaml ess across the palate. Typical Napa juiciness with loys of up front black fruits, cassis,blackberries. Still a fair amount of tannic structure. Big and delicious but well within itself.
