Cuvee Mourre de Perdrix
Whether this has been a week of bad wines or a bad week for wines can be discussed in freshman philosophy classes forever. At the end of the day the bottle of CdP that I opened tonight was less than exciting and for a brief moment until the whatever blew off I thought "pour the sucker down the drain now", but we gave it a moment or three and it turned out to be a little hot on the finish and pruny on the palate but acceptable in a what can you do sort of way. Dale would definitely give this one a C- but no one would serve it at a party anyway.
