Hungarian wine

I know there's a famous hungarian wine but I can't think off the name of it for the life of me can anyone refresh my memory because I'm going to Budapest soon and want to get a bottl or two to try.

Were you thinking sweet white?: Tokaji Aszu (try 5 Puttonyos)

or red? Egri Bikaver (it's famous in name only , the wines have been pretty mediocre, depending of course on who made the wine)

Try something by winemaker Gere Attila he makes higher end wines. (perhaps the Villanyi Cuvee)

Whatever you drink, don't try the Balatonboglari Kekfrankos (BB). It's typically sold for less than a buck US a bottle. It's worse than the home made portuguese wine i tried recently in Toronto.

Yeah I read that. Thought that I'd nothing to add to what Zed said. If the guy ever comes back with something like "ah, yes Tokaji Aszu, that's the stuff", then I can help.

Don't know if that's it just there was a feature on TV on Euronews about hungary in the run up to them joining the EU and they mentioned one famous type of Hungarian wine that was meant to be very good, I'll check the euronews website and see if I can find anything.
