I have purchased via auction a case of 2005 Ch.Quattro Cahors. Not being familiar with most French wines, I was wondering what the good folks at afw could tell me about this drop. I do understand Cahors is very dark wine, and usually a Malbec blended with Merlot or Tannat, and has a penchant for being an ugly child that develops over time. I paid a very small amount for these wines, but is an aussie likely to find anything attractive in this purchase?
