Italian Bar... :gotta win the pint

Hi all

A subscriber to my local NG has challenged others to name 4 Italian wines that begin with the letters B A R. Barolo and Barbaresco are excluded: there's another 4!

I've got Barbera D'Asti and del Monferrato and Bardolino. I need another one to win the pint. Please help.

For those who are worried about Sammy cheating, this is not cheating. Oh no, just gotta win the pint.

Regards Sammy

Nice one :-). We'll share the pint when we three meet. Do you fancy a pint of rare Petrus, a DRC or just some old Krug? Regards Sammy

Add Barbacarlo and the list should be complete. Luk

Two missing:

Barbera del Monferrato

Bardolino superiore (which is DOCG, Bardolino being DOC)

There are also other barberas (Barbera del Piemonte, Barbera dell'Oltrepo' Pavese, Barbera dei Colli Tortonesi and others), let us consider them as the same for syntesis. The same for Bardolino, distinguishing DOC and DOCG is just a nuance. :-) Luk
