Niagara Wine Route - A welcome addition

A welcome addition to the NWR is small artisanal bakery (and catering enterprise) in a white house with red brick fence just east of Vineland on Rte 81 and right across the road from Kacaba winery. Their breads are baked daily by hand and using only organic, stone-ground and less refined flours and natural sourdough cultures. Currently they are making 18oz Country sourdough,18oz Levain (Whole Wheat and Rye), 20oz Olive (Country sourdough base) and a 16oz Honey Walnut. I can tell you from empirical evidence that the products are vunderbar!

I have no financial or other interest in this enterprise and only know Heather and Lenny Karmiol by reputation. On the other hand I confess to very selfish self-interest in having this enterprise prosper so that I can continue to eat their yummy product.

Thank you for this, Chuck. I am always interested in purchasing organic products when I can. I have never done a Niagara wine tasting tour, but this bakery sounds like a definite stop! Ian Murray
