Oster Corkscrew

Sep 30, 2007 0 Replies

I just tossed the useless piece of crap known as the electric corkscrew by Oster. Anything out of the ordinary like cork fragments were extremely hard to retrieve. The corkscrew then became close to unusable as more than half the bottles I tried to open with it did not even start. It also has the same problem as other corkscrews I have used in that it is designed for California bottles while most of my bottles are French with corks that are a little bit longer so the corkscrew thought it was done while there was still about 1/4" of cork still in the bottle. I now use a different corkscrew.
