Regular Drinkers 25-30 years ago

When I first started to drink wine at the legal age of 18 in 1975 the choices were Meteaus Rose, Lancers and some real cheap and sweet German Reislings, Liebframe....

In the early 80s I actually tried my first Dry Red and it was Chateau Margaux. Did not really care for it that much but since on Honeymoon brought back some and kept in good condition. For 20th wedding aniversary we had bottle and it really was the best I have ever had.

We all start somewhere. Nothing will ever measure up to the 1978 C. Margaux for me.

Well I graduated from UF law in 77 if that counts. We probably at one time or another frequented the same demented places most of which are thankfully torn down now.

Snuffy's, Leonardos Arts Steakhouse Sea Fox

Any of these ringing any bells.
