The Littlest Winemonger has arrived!

Lotte Adelia arrived on July 18th, 9:36 PM, weighing in at 6 lbs., 10 oz. We celebrated with two Champagnes: Nicolas Feuillatte Cuvee Palmes D'Or 1996 NV Krug Grande Cuvee

Honestly couldn't give you tasting notes on those (I was a bit tired), but did love the notes of pip fruit in the Feuillatte.

Now, which 2005's to buy for long cellaring?

Congratulations!

"Lotte Adelia"

Whew. When I saw subject line, I thought "oh, hope they didn't name him/her Smaragd!"

"Now, which 2005's to buy for long cellaring?"

Maybe some of our Southern hemisphere friends have ideas already.

Get some rest!

Great news! And a very pretty name, (much more so than Smaragd LOL).

Congratulations to the whole family, especially little Lotte Adelia. Well done!

P.S. Not sure what the current American Opinion is on this, but French doctors recommend a glass or so with dinner for the mother...

Many congratulations, Emily! I'm amazed that you had the energy to post at all. Remind us about the 2005 wines in a couple of years (I'm going to do the same about '04 for our no-longer-so-little one)
