Tonight, I got home to find Jean recovering from a bad day with a glass of:
2004 Navarro Pinot Noir "L'Ancienne" nose: dark fruit, slight oak palate: soft entry, dark fruit, a hint of oak, good acidity
This wine definitely showed signs of the vintage, as it was noticeably darker and more extracted than the typical Navarro Pinot. Still enjoyable, if less food-friendly, it managed to turn Jean's day around.
