TN: 2001 Drouhin Chambolle

Last night Betsy made panko crusted pork cutlets , roasted cauliflower, qui noa and salad, , wine was my last bottle of the 2001 Drouhin Chambolle-Musi gny. I’ve really enjoyed this over the years, and last night was no exception. Pretty wine, pure cherry fruit with a little overlay of sour ch erry, some earth and cedar. Resolved tannin, tangy acids, nice length. Pret ty much what you could ask for in mature village Chambolle. A-/B+

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a p arty where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivi ty, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
