Has anyone here tried this device to aerate wines?
Recently at a friends we poured a glass with and a glass without the device...huge difference.
Here are the details on how it works.
It was amaging. I still prefer to decant however.
I have one of these; it certainly does what I expect, it jump- starts the wine very quickly. After being poured-through the Vinturi and swirled a couple of times, wine seems to be about where 15-30 minutes of swirling alone would get it. It's not a bad little widget for freshly-opened wine.
