I'd be serving the Zin. It will cut through the fat (shameful!) and compliment the dogs. The crispy SB will probably cut through the fat, but you run the risk of taste clashes.

I'm having a hot dog (weiner) party. The menue will be Sabrett natural casing hot dogs. They have a fat content of 92%. Do you think a crisp Sav Blanc or maybe a fruity Zin. Many thanks.
Check out the May issue of Food & Wine magazine for Wolfgang Puck's "Hot Dog Melts" recipe, and then serve with some Austrian wine (wein). Perhaps a Blaufrankisch to go with the smokiness.
92% fat?? Don't forget your Lipitor!
FWIW, I'd probably wash that down with Zin. Maybe a Drano chaser too - to prevent it from congealing. ;^)
