Where to buy Remy Martin Louis XIII in London?

Hi, there,

I wondered where I can buy Remy Martin Louis XIII in London? It does not have to be old one, which should be too expensive to me.

Thanks a lot in advance.

That *is* an old one and it *is* rather expensive. You might try Harrod's or the airport shops. Price should be about 1200USD Anders

Take a Radisson cruise I saw a bottle for 750USD IIRC (of course the cruise itself is rather pricey . . .)

You may have some luck with Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd. They have a store on St. James just off Jermyn Street. You may want to give them a call. They may know how to find what you need.

And if they don't,there's Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly just up St James' and on the way, Justerini & Brookes on the left in St James' In a sense you're right, but St James' is a more important street than Jermyn Street, even if Paxton & Whitfield ARE there. Coming from the park (St James' park) BB&R is on the right about 20 -40 metres after the beginning. J&B (no coincidence) is about 100 yds before the junction with Picadilly, on left as you go up from BB&R. I seem to have this vague recollection of another snooty wie shop in the area, in a courtyard. Anothr possibility would of course be Harrods, but I've not set foot in the place for 3 years - it had gone completely down the tubes. A further possibility might be Selfridges.

I understand that the Royal Family agrees with you in this assessment.

You might check the auctions in London. Christie's has a web site at

and a phone +44 (0) 20 7389 2057. Sotheby's has a phone +44 (0) 20 7293 6423. There are also other auction houses in London and elsewhere in the UK, and often you can bid by phone or mail if you can not attend the live auction.

Here in the US, I often have seen Louis XIII for sale at wine auctions. You sometimes can buy it at less than current retail. It seems many people receive it as a gift and decide they had rather auction it and buy something else. If you are interested in the fancy crystal decanter, this often can be bought at a fairly reasonable price. Empty Louis XIII decanters often are sold on eBay.
