This is only remotely related to wine making by the fact that I often see people discussing what apples to blend, but I found it interesting anyway --
I had a little bottle of Tropicana 100% Apple Juice the other day. I was board so I read the label. To start with it is made from concentrate so water is added. (is that 100%) apple juice?) Then they add acids and other flavoring along with preservatives. (Still 100% apple juice?)
But then the interesting thing - the contents! Quoting, CONTAINS CONCENTRATES FROM GERMANY, AUSTRIA, ITALY, HUNGARY, ARGENTINA, CHILE, TURKEY, BRAZIL, CHINA, AND THE UNITED STATES.
Now that is a blend! (assuming you believe it.)
