Copper tubing technique for H2S

Dear All
I know that a lot of people recommend the copper tubing technique for H2S.
Is there any problem in using this technique if there is only extremley small amounts of H2S.
I think there are tiny amounts but I am not sure, is there any secondary effects on using this technique as I would like to make sure.
Any comments are welcome.
Thanks
Marc
