i have a packet of condessa finings which went out of date last month. they are silica based (i think) and i have only used them to fine one gallon of wine, i still have 4gallons worth left. will they really go out of date? or be totally useless or just deteriorate slightly? im sure dfferent finings will will have different shelves lives.
do finings go out of date?

I don't know what condessa is so can't answer, most commonly used finings don't spoil. Joe
