Any feedback on the best filter for wine. I have seen three types that are of interest,
the buon vino minijet and superjet
I make wine from fruit and the description of the mini jet recommends for kit makers. Does anyone have any experience using this filter with fruit wines?
Are there any alternatives.

You don¹t say how much wine you make. That is important in your consideration for a filter. I have a Minijet and just love it. This is perfect for filtering 5-10 gallons. I make many different fruit wines and this filter works great. I think if you are more toward the higher end (10 or more gallons to filter) you may want to consider the superjet. I don't have any experience with the enolmatic, so I can't really comment on it.
Is the 5 - 10 gallon limitation a duty cycle issue with the pump?
I usually will only be making in 6 gallon increments, but was hoping to, in the spring/summer, doubling my production to 12 gallon batches.
Yes. Well, there are two reasons. First, unless your wine is really really brilliantly clear, your filters will begin to get clogged up if you push too much through it. The pads were designed for 5 gallons. Secondly, the pump may burn out if you run it too long.
