From wine to beer to wine again

Well, I just wanted to say hi all. I started making cheap wines a few years ago, then meads and for the last year I have been brewing beer. I have a 15 gallon 3 pot stainless brewing system. I have only been brewing a year but have won 8 metals and first place in the AHA regionals, but did not show in the finals. My meads never placed. The reason I am saying all this, is because I am very interested in getting into the craft (art) of wine making like I did brewing. Are there wine competitions like beer competitions? I have make Jack Keller's blue ribbon jalapeno wine, so if he got a ribbon there must me competitions. Is there a list online of wine competitions?

Winemaker Magazine has an annual one.

I'm sure your local and/or state winemaking club has one as well. Generally you have to become a member of the organization, but it's not usually expensive.

Where I am we have the AWO (amateur winemakers of Ontario) which holds one annually.
