Last spring I tied five wine bottles in the pear tree, putting a small branch with a pear bud on the end inside the bottle. One of the five survived and grew. I filled the bottle with some of my 2008 cream pear wine and corked it. I plan on opening it for Thanksgiving. Picture at:
