racking

Hi:) I'm newbie in all this stuff and have never racked before. I was wondering if it is possible to use as secondary this plastic container used with spring water sold in all supermarkets, I mean those with a tiny tap at the bottom. Tx's Gus

I'm not 100% sure about how long you intend to keep the wine in the plastic container -- it's not recommended to keep it in there after up to a 2 week primary. The tap idea's OK but you should put plastic tubing on the end so that your wine travels in the tube to the bottom of the container below to minimize oxidation.

Yep. I thought about it. I'll keep in plastic just the time needs to ferment

I strongly suggest you buy a glass carboy. Or two. One bad batch and you'll wish you had....
