I tried Turbo yeast a few years back. I used the 8kg of sugar and a ginger beer kit. This fermented very quickly over a few days, and I racked it weekly over several weeks. When I bottled it after about 8 weeks it tasted and smelled like paint stripper. After about six months it evolved into a beautiful drop. I dont know what the final strength was but it was VERY strong. I served it in liquer glasses and sipped slowly. It just kept getting better, but I bet I could have run an alchohol lamp with it.
