No, these are American budget wines and not usually available in Canada. The LCBO probably has similar quality wines. I can recall consuming Thunderbird and Wild Irish Rose in Upstate New york in the early 70's. You could chec the LCBO site at:

Great site. It is amazing that my little friends and I survived our teen years drinking this stuff. Mad Dog was always around.
Does anybody remember Purple Passion? That might have been grape juice at one point.

What about baby duck? eechh

In high school in N California the big hit during the 70s was.....Red Mountain. Gads, that was some rough stuff.... Of course, Boones Farm was big too - oversweetened soda pop with something akin to white lightenig to fortify it. Yergh....
Yep, it was. Right up until you poured in the PG (Pure grain) then it turned into purple lighter fluid!
Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill. Oooh man, what a memory!
And, I only remember it in two liter bottles which everybody assumed was a single serving.

I would not serve that with cookies. The appropriate food to go with that would be corn flakes.

Hmmmm... I wonder what other treasures the LCBO has in store... perhaps I will make a similar page.
And a lot of people think Boone's Farm is what country wine is!

In Southern California the big hit was Boones Farm, and there was one that might have been Boones that was named Tickle Pink. Had a cute television commercial with a jingle that went, "I used to be fickle, until I got tickled pink."
My head hurts just thinking of it...
