I have a 5 gal. batch of Cabernet Franc made from grapes from last years harvest aging(waiting for bottle filler to arrive in mail) that seems to have lost some of its color. I have been sulfiting when neccesary at a rate of 1/8-1/4tsp. per 5 gallons of wine.I have one 3gallon carboy and one other
5 gallon carboy of the same wine aging along side of the wine that is losing color that has been sulfited the same way that has fantastic color.Can anyone help out? Any response is greatly appreciated. AJD- posted
