What's Become of Knockando?

Has it closed down? I can't find any of their stuff here in the States, and the 21yo Single Cask is one of my favorites. I've also got an unopened bottle of the XO Reserver (1963) that is fantastic (it's my second bottle).

But I would love to get some more of the 21yo Single Cask. Or even the

18 or 12 yo. It's been a while, and I'm not ready to open my XO Reserve.

Thanks.

Don't quote me, but I believe it is now going as An Cnoc. A distillery by any other name...

Hmmm. My local has both; I'll have to look into it. Interesting news, thanks :)

An Cnoc is also bottled as Knockdhu, and has nothing to do with Knockando which is a different destillery. Easy to get confused, though!

Knockdhu is no longer bottled as such although still available under that name. There was, I believe, threatened legal action over possible confusing of the two names. Knockando is distilled in the village of Knockando. An Cnoc is distilled in the village of Knock by Huntly. HTH
