Crown in Stockport - closed ??

I seem to recall visiting that establishment back in 1982ish. Am I correct in saying that there was a bit of a parking problem for cars and that one had to park some distance away up a road that ran parallel to the A6? (At or near a large traffic island wasn't it?).

Yep it is just off a big roundabout on a road where you can't park.

But there is now a multistory car park between it and the A6.

I believe it reopened last night.

AIUI because of financial problems the business has been put in another name, but the pub should continue as before.
