Beer preference

I've recently gotten into drinking a variety of beers. So far, I've had your american staple cheap lagers: bud, coors, miller. I've also had Labatt Blue and Molsen Ice from Canada. Then, I've now had Heineken, bass and pale ale, and sam adams light. I've got things I like, or dislike about them, sure. But I read all these taste tests, reviews, etc...and everyone seems to just simply have different preferences. It does seem that Sam Adams comes out on top in a lot of blind taste tests and such, but isn't it all really just a personal preference!?

Anyway, just my first post of many I hope as I learn about this wonderful creation of beer.

More or less preference. Sam Adams, eh, it's there IMO. Agree that you should try your local offerings. Looking at

*yawn* And which of those do you post on, dear boy?

Lemme guess, someone whined, all the less-intelligent BAs piled on, a lone voice of reason spoke out, and everyone backpedaled?

Did someone wind up purchasing rateabeergeek.com?

Sounds interesting. Who brews it?

I popped in on both of those recently. Talk about a lot of self-congratulatory BS. It's worse than here, but without the ongoing discussion-like aspects (and with dictatorial control). At least we don't constantly spam those sites with pointers to USENET newsgroups.

Hmmm. If there was rateshit.com, I might try that.

A little less piddy-ish trolling, please, sir, and more about beer. Looking forward to the new book when it comes out.

Wonder if ratemypoo.com has an Off-Topic discussion board where they discuss beer. --

Because the only thing that gets posted here anymore is somebody saying "Go look at ratebeer/BeerAdvocate." And it bores me. So I said it. Cuz I was bored. Not trolling, though I could see why someone would think that. Just a bit of melancholy. I think I've earned that.

Yeah, you're SUCH a contributor. Do me.

BeerAdvocate. In the forums. Cuz they won't let me rate beers the way they oughta be rated. You know...GOOD or SHITE. And cuz Andy went there, and I like Andy.

Nah, didn't have anything to do with there. It was here.

I sure thought about it. But I'd need someone with a programming brain to set it up... Hey, waitaminute...

I like Andy, but it doesn't mean I went there. Well, except to search when I need a beer's ABV or location or something.

Is fun to see your posts every so often. You should post drunk more often though.

You buy and design, I make site real cheap. Then I rate you.
