I'm looking to purchase bottles of Staropramen Dark either locally or over the internet. It is an amazing Czech beer. Does anyone know of a site that sells it or wear to buy locally in Atlanta, GA? Thanks in advance!

I've never seen it outside of the CR. Have you tried contacting Staropramen's importer?

Staropramen has been available in the USA in the past, but my experience is consistent with yours: I remember only the pale lager was imported, not the dark.
I haven't seen the stuff anywhere in years, which seems strange, since it's owned by the world's largest brewing corporation, so distribution shouldn't be a problem.

I've seen it locally (at Morry's), though not recently. VASTLY superior to the pale, oversweet crap that Staropromen blanco is.
