Hello Bjarke!

Because we have a deposit on cans in Germany (25 Euro-cent per can and non-returnable bottles) and I do not believe that you will bring the cans back to Germany I would advice to buy bottles. You might give them back in Denmark or, if not, it is only 8 cent per bottle deposit you have to pay!

I am sorry I cannot help you with the shops because I live about 400 km south the border! But if you like to come down here, I could help you. We have 6 different beers of Oettinger here!

That is how it should be!

Prost and good luck,

Bastian

Now, here's a trick; in ordinary shops or at least in border shops you can easily fill out an "export declaration" that exempts you from paying the deposit on cans. And by the question on whether bottled or canned beer of each brand should be preferred I was thinking on if there in each case is any difference on the experience I would get from drinking the beer.

Maybe I didn't put my question correct at first but what I meant was something along "can anyone guide me to which organizations of shops where I usually should expect to find the Oettinger Hefeweissbier ?"

Moreover I would still like some advice on which not so familiar beers to buy (if I manage to find a shop that is willing to sell them to me).

And now a local version I learnt from some guy from Flensburg; "monst !" Actually it should be so local that most people in Flensburg don't know about it, and if it has any meaning at all I'm not really sure. :o)
