I'd just like to put a plug in for an excellent low-key festival held up at Lancaster Uni each year by a landlord who's right behind real ale. Apart from an always interesting range of beers, it's a rare chance to have some proper cider (rather than the familar names) in the Northwest.
It's at the Graduate Bar, Fri 17-Sun19 June. It's in this naff 70s bar on campus and is always a nice sociable affair, so if anyone from this ng will be in the area over the weekend, come along and say hello.
