There used to be a bar in the Old Town of Nice called de Klomp, a Belgian bar selling Belgian Beer with live jazz in the evenings. It's been a while since I was there, though.

6, rue Mascolinat Vieux Nice 18 beers on draught, good selection of belgian bottles (including Rochefort 10 for example)

Thanks for the info folks, I will report on my findings when firstly,I have returned and secondly, when I have sobered up!!
