Does anyone know just when the 'half hourly' bus runs? Bit silly arriving station two minutes after bus has gone.

Dave, As far as we know, they run on the hour and half past the hour - but depending on traffic, this may alter throughout the day - so if you have been waiting at the station for 20 mins, then one should be due within 10 mins - see you there.

It's worth reminding train travellers that there's a silly amount of engineering work on Saturday (what's new!) and I think the travel planners (Qjump etc) do not show the true picture or conflict on their data, e.g. no Virgin services to Chesterfield. True I wonder? You are OK if on London/Nottingham - Sheffield corridor though. If you are travelling from Birmingham I would move house first!

FREE bus service from Chesterfield Railway Station. Also picks up from Comet and The Derby Tup. Runs every hour.

Half past the hour from Chesterfield Railway Station. On the hour from outside the main Car Park at Barrow Hill.
