Cask Ale in Key West (also Southern Florida or any other Key)???

My wife and I will be going to Key West for a week this Spring. Are there any pubs or brew pubs that sell cask conditioned ale there? We are flying into Miami then driving with friends through the Keys on Route 1. I would be interested in hearing about any places in those areas selling cask ale as well.

Hi Bruce, have you asked on rec.food.drink.beer, rec.crafts.brewing or alt.beer? or a look/posting up on some of the beerfans sites with recommendations/bulletin boards might be worth a look.

Try the Abbey Brewing Co.

1115 -16th street, Miami Beach. FL33139 (305) 538 8110. Ray the Owner/Brewer is a great guy - please say "Hi" from Freeminer !

Thanks Don,

I've been to the Abbey before. Great place. Excellent Belgian selection. No cask. According to Ray (two years ago when I was last there) there were no plans for adding handpumps. Part of the reason I believe, was that they are near the ocean and have no cellar.
