Great Microbrewery and Pub

Just returned from 2 weeks in the Yorkshire Dales. While staying in Hawes for the first few nights, we discovered the Waggon and Horses in Oxenhope. He makes incredibly good real ales -- including a really, really dark Old Tosser that is way nicer than either RamTam or Old Peculier. I just can't say enuff good things about this brew pub. I rate it up with the old Dipton Mill Inn.

Food was good too -- especially the chicken-liver and brandy pate for starters. Lamb cutlets were the best I have ever had.

As for location, he's on the Hebden Bridge Rd that goes out of Oxenhope.

Do you mean Haworth? Hawesis a hell of a way from Oxenhope!

Yeah, sorry. Yesterday was one of THOSE dayz. We were staying in Haworth. (Later we went to Hawes -- gottem confused!)
