Are my worst fears confirmed and has Burton Ale been discontinued by Tetley, sorry Carlsberg UK? I was pleasantly surprised to see it being promoted at the GBBF but since then it has disappeared from the few outlets in central London that I knew stocked it. Although the quality was more variable than in the days when it was a CamRA award winner, it could still be an excellent pint when properly looked after.
