Why? Do you know something we don't? :)

As the festival was last weekend it's all a bit academic.

By the way....it was great!! johnnysaint

I prefer to be delighted & exited by the selection having made the effort to get there.

anyway, I caught the tail end of the fest on Sun night - still a goodly few beers on, despite the woeful name, 'Sweating Sickness' was actually a good fruity strong ale, there was a Corvedale beer which was full of a strangely raspberry/diacetyl flavour to the extent that it was the only flavour you could taste. Lots of other decent beers were still on tho, and homemade scouse & 'blind scouse' which is meat-free! cheers, Mike.

(am I missing summat here? :~)

i'd be more delighted if you just exited :~)

It was just that the range of beers on offer was so large and varied that I couldn't work out what factor Martin Dawe had identified which would stop him attending.

pssst! Martin - my mate thinks you've got a delightful exit :)

Sorry, that was what I was confused/bemused about too.

As Johnny said, one factor that stopped him attending was the "it was on the week before last" nature of the festival :~) cheers MikeMcG
