New Beer from Eldridge Pope, by Burtonwood!

Just to keep us on our toes, EP, after having previously brewed a beer called Thomas Hardy, they rented their Dorset brewery to a brewing & packaging co. called Thomas Hardy, then sold the brewery, forcing TH to concentrate their brewing at Burtonwood (whose pubs & business were later sold to W&D), while EP sold its major brands to US firm Phoenix Imports (IIRC?) and they (Phoenix) now have nthe former Dorset EP beers (Royal Oak & Thomas Hardy Ale) brewed in Devon by Irish-origin brewers, O'Hanlon; EP are now licensing ThomasHardy/Burtonwood in Cheshire (Northern England) to brew a new beer 'Southern Glory' for them!

Did you keep up?

Priceless!

Cheers MikeMcG.
