Being in the unfortunate position of not having a cellar or anywhere else suitable I have been searching for a fridge the right size for a polypin that can be set to 12 to 13c. I do not have room for another domestic size fridge either so want something compact. Can anyone recommend anything? I have searched on and off for quite a while but the subject of my quest eludes me! Stuart

I think you may be trying too hard. A polypin is only a temporary container designed for short term use. The abuse beer gets in a polypin means that trying to control temperature to a degree (*13-14* BTW) is a counsel of perfection that isn't really warranted.
- Insulate. (And take obvious steps to avoid heating by convection or radiation.)
- 'Ice blocks' (Plastic bottles of goo that go in picnic boxes) work either on top if cold air can seep down the sides or underneath or on the sides.
I think the big supermarkets & other stores like argos sometimes sell small beer fridges, but unfortunately all branded-up in Stella or Fosters logos! You could pretend that you're being all post-modern - storing trad real ale in a such a fridge?
