Radio Beer today.

On R4 now - Sir Protz of Stalbania, Karin Bilmoria (Cobra beer) & Peter Haydon (Meantime, ex-SIBA, etc) - should be on Lisnaggen later too.

So far seems like a free ad for Cobra - like they need it? (apparently real ale is too heavy & bitter to go with Indian food & most lager is too fizzy - we need a less fizzy mass-brewed lager)

In a curry house in Leith, I once had Deuchars IPA with my curry. It was bottled, but went down nicely with it nonetheless.

In Hereford, opposite the Brewery Tap there was and maybe still is, a curry house that allowed you to fetch your cask pints across. Dorothy Goodbody beers went fine with it!

Our CAMRA branch is going again in autumn, so here's hoping....................

In Bradford, the pretty basic, but good food curry house, Sheesh Mahal is bang next door to the excellent Beehive, you can bring your pints straight in. Aaaaah! MikeMcG
