Any of you globetrotting types have any beer- related ideas as to where a good time might be had in Madrid? All suggestions gratefully received.
Cheers Chris

I'm not so globe-trotty, but I was in Madrid a few years back - went to a couple of clubs one night - 1 was a bit too cool for me, the other was heaving & great music - I ended up percussing on the bashed- up tin plates on the wall - no decent beer, but powerrful G&Ts & great atmosphere . . . anyway, to beer - my memory's a bit hazy, we went to one of 2 brewpubs - either
Magister, Calle Principe 18 -
I think it was the Magister we went to (apparently they are near one another) & it was very german in style, but good nonetheless, just an odd thing to experience in the middle of Madrid.
Both of these, plus a few more places get a mention on here
