The 21st Great Grampian Beer Festival is being planned for 22nd to
24th November at Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen. To be precise, it will be in the ground floor concourse in the Richard Donald Stand with access via Gate 9 at the Beach End.
As usual, there will be more than 70 different cask ales on offer over the three days of the festival. There will also be a selection of bottled beers and ciders, as well as non-alcoholic drinks.
The entry is £5 (£3 for Camra members), which includes a programme and commemorative festival glass. The glass will serve as your "ticket", and you will not need to pay extra for later visits as long as you can show your glass when re-entering the venue.
The festival will also host the Champion Winter Beer of Scotland competition, which will be held on Thursday before the festival opens to the public.
The event has been moved from its previous venue - McClymont Hall in Holburn Street. The new venue offers a number of advantages, the most obvious to the punters is that it has double the capacity, which we hope will alleviate or remove the queues at the door during the busy hours of Thursday and Friday night. The toilet facilities are also significantly better.
