Whitchurch Beer Festival (Hampshire)

Nov 21, 2006 0 Replies

Hot on the heels of the CAMRA Hampshire Downs event at Overton, a smaller but just as enjoyable festival is being held in the adjacent small town of Whitchurch, one of the country's smallest towns. Home of a working Silk Mill and the place where the 'Right to Demonstrate' was won for the country, Whitchurch also boasts 8 real ale outlets, nearly all free houses or owned by independent brewers. Three are in the Good Beer Guide. if you like real ale, Whitchurch makes a great place to visit.
