I'll be there :o)
Tell me - are families allowed as in the past ?
What music this time ?

In article , Manky Badger writes
Families are fine, but children have to be out by 7pm on both the Friday & the Saturday.
Music - the DB's (rock/pop covers) on the Friday night and something light on the Saturday lunchtime.
The beer is being delivered on Monday, I should have a 'delivered' beer list up soon after.
What qualifies as a child for drinking purposes ? - presumably standard licansing laws ? - can a 17 year old try the ales ?
Put on the lady with the harpischord - she was good !!
A question - when is opening on the Saturday ?

The festival operates under a standard ale & cider license from Dover magistrates and you have to be 18 to buy or drink the beers. Interesting to note, the festival does not have a license to sell spirits, nor does it try to!
She may well be back, I'm not sure (I didn't book them!) Someone else might know.
See the website - I can't remember :-)
Topsy
Actually it would be worth checking the license itself. IIRC cider can be bought by 15 year olds according to licensing laws - but then I may be out of date myself.
16 and over - may purchase beer, porter, cider or perry with a meal in an eating area on licensed premises. (In Scotland wine can also be bought)
under 18 - may not purchase or be supplied with or consume alcohol in a bar
Robin
you didn't say that about tall ships and beer in Whitehaven

Where's Whitehaven ?
Up there ^
