Firestation 5

Firestation 5 is the brand name, it says it is from Portland Oregon. I read that it is a company that brews specifically for Fred Meyer. Anyone have any more info on this company? I assume I am drinking mass produced beer. Is it possible that it is a craft brewrey that got bought out? Mabey it is just a piece of one of the giants like A-B disguised as "microbrew". whaddya think?

Portland, i.e., Pyramid brews it. Definitely not a giant brewery.

They also brew "Metolius" beers for Albertson's. Basically the same (maybe exactly the same) beers as Firestation 5.

Well I drank my six from them and I thought they were pretty good. The porter was the best.

What do you all think of them? How do they compare to other brands?

I've had the IPA and I think it was the Amber. They taste alot like a Red Hook or Pyramid product. Perfectly decent beers, but I don't go out of my way to buy them.
