I've got several bottles of all three beers here at the moment. Of course, the monks tell you you're not allowed to sell them on - not that anyone takes any notice.

I'm not selling mine, anyway. The 12% is being laid down for about 3 years to see if that restores it to its former substantially better self. I may drink the 6%. I haven't decided what to do with the 8% yet.

The abbey is known as The Abbey of Saint Sixtus of Westvleteren. Saint Sixtus beers *are* Westvleteren beers.

They were called St Sixtus when brewed at sint bernardus, since the contract has ended , westvletern beers are only brewed at the abbey , are unlabelled but with the info on the crown cap. Westvletern beers have not been brewed at sint bernardus since 1992.

The St. Barnardus brewed beers, branded St. Sixtus, were a commercially-produced version of the Westvleteren beers. The St. Bernardus brewery is still brewing , but their beers now carry their own name and are no longer brewed to the Westvleteren recipes, apparently.
